Isolated Power Outages - Friday, May 16, 2025

UPDATE at 8:35 a.m.: Power has been restored to Forest Elementary and FAIR School Crystal. 

Dear Robbinsdale Area Schools families and staff,

Three of our buildings are currently experiencing power outages—Forest Elementary, FAIR School Crystal, and Crystal Learning Center, which houses the Robbinsdale Transition Center. Most of our schools have backup generators, which are running and providing basic power.

We are working with our Facilities team and Xcel Energy to get power restored as soon as possible. In the meantime, as students are arriving at schools, our staff are greeting them and proceeding with the school day as best as possible.

We will keep you updated throughout the day as the situation changes.
